Acceptance of Terms

By using LyricShow, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

LyricShow provides live speech-to-text captioning, real-time translation, animated caption displays, and a broadcast overlay for streaming and video calls, on iOS, Android, and the web.

Subscriptions and Purchases

• Subscriptions and add-ons are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose.
• All purchases are made through the Apple App Store (iOS / Mac) or Google Play (Android). LyricShow does not process payments on the web — the web app reflects the subscription attached to your signed-in account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time from your App Store or Google Play account; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies. Request refunds through the store you purchased from.

Accounts

• Sign-in uses your Apple ID or Google account via Firebase Authentication.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), or request deletion from the Account & Data Deletion page.

Your Content

“Your Content” means anything you bring into LyricShow: lyric sheets and other documents you import, the speech you capture with the microphone, and the captions and translations produced from it.

• You keep ownership. We claim no ownership of Your Content. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive licence needed to operate the app for you — to extract text from a file you upload, transcribe and translate speech, display captions, and relay caption text to your own broadcast overlay. That licence lasts only as long as we need it to perform those operations and ends when you stop using the service.
• We do not publish it. Imported lyrics stay in your device’s song library, not in a shared or public library. Overlay caption text is transient and goes only to the overlay URL you control. We do not use Your Content to train models or for advertising.
• You are responsible for the rights. You represent that you own Your Content or otherwise have the rights to use it, and that using it with LyricShow does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

Copyright and Third-Party Lyrics

Song lyrics are usually protected by copyright. Importing lyrics for your own use, or displaying them in a stream, broadcast, performance, or other public setting, may require permission or a licence from the copyright owner or their publisher. Obtaining any such permission is your responsibility, not ours — LyricShow is a display and captioning tool and provides no rights in any song, lyric, or other third-party work.

You also agree not to use LyricShow to import, display, or broadcast content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

Copyright Complaints

If you believe content displayed or transmitted through LyricShow infringes your copyright, email support@lyricshow.live with: your contact details; identification of the work you say is infringed; a description of where the infringing use appears (for example the broadcast, channel, or overlay URL); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights owner or the law; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; and your signature, electronic or physical. We investigate every complete notice, remove or disable access to material we control where a claim is substantiated, and suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the service
• Share your broadcast overlay URL or token with unauthorized users
• Use the broadcast overlay from more than 3 unique IP addresses in a 24-hour period
• Attempt to circumvent token rotation, session locking, or watermarking systems
• Use automated tools to abuse the speech recognition or translation APIs

Accuracy Disclaimer

Speech recognition and machine translation are imperfect. Captions and translations may contain errors, and you should not rely on them where accuracy is critical (for example, legal, medical, or emergency communication).

Limitation of Liability

LyricShow is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate transcriptions or translations.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
