What to include

So we can reproduce the problem on the first reply, tell us: which platform you are on (iPhone, Android, or the web app) and its version, the language or languages you had selected, whether you were online or using downloaded offline packs, and what you expected to happen versus what actually happened.

No captions appear when I press Start

LyricShow needs microphone permission. On iOS check Settings → LyricShow → Microphone and Speech Recognition; in a browser check the padlock in the address bar and allow the microphone for lyricshow.live. Captions also need a language your device can recognize — see the next item.

It says it is downloading a speech model

When your language has no built-in recognizer available, LyricShow downloads an offline speech model (roughly 40 MB) so recognition can run on your device. The download only happens once per language and is kept on the device; you can review and remove models in Settings → Storage.

Translation is slow or falls back to the original text

Translation tries the on-device language pack first and only goes online if no pack is installed for that direction. If neither is available it passes the original text through rather than blocking your captions. Install the language pack for the pair you use in Settings → Translation for the fastest, fully offline results.

My subscription is not showing up

Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy it — entitlements follow the account, not the device. Then open Upgrades and use Restore Purchases. If it still does not appear, email us with the store you bought from and the account email.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

All purchases run through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so cancellations and refunds are handled there — not by us. Cancel from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions screen; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refund requests go to the store you purchased from.

The broadcast overlay says it is active on another device

An overlay URL runs one live session at a time and is limited to 3 unique IP addresses in a 24-hour period. Close the other browser source or wait for the session to time out. If you think your overlay URL leaked, generate a new one from the app — that rotates the token and invalidates the old link.

I want to delete my account

You can do it yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it for you. See Account & Data Deletion for exactly what gets removed.
