LyricShow was born from a simple idea: everyone deserves to see the words being spoken, no matter the venue, the volume, or the language.

Whether you're a singer performing in a noisy club, a teacher in a multilingual classroom, a pastor addressing a diverse congregation, or a streamer connecting with a global audience — LyricShow puts your words on screen in real-time.

Information We Collect

LyricShow collects minimal data necessary to provide the service:

Audio data: Microphone input is processed for speech recognition. Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers.
Account information: If you create an account, we store your email address and subscription status.
Usage preferences: Language selections, theme preferences, and LED colors are stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Data

Speech recognition processing (on-device where possible)
Real-time text translation via third-party APIs
OBS overlay text streaming via Firebase Realtime Database
Purchases and subscription billing are handled entirely by the Apple App Store and Google Play; the web app only reads your entitlements

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Firebase (Google): Authentication and real-time database
Apple / Google: In-app purchase processing

AI Voice Adaptation

The AI Voice Adaptation feature processes voice data entirely on your device. Speaker profiles (word frequencies, phoneme patterns, speaking speed) are stored locally and never transmitted to our servers. Each device builds its own independent profile. Voice data never leaves the device under any circumstances.

Data Retention

Audio is never stored. Transcribed text in the OBS streaming channel is overwritten in real-time and not persisted. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted upon request.

Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), or by contacting support@lyricshow.live.

Acceptance of Terms

By using LyricShow, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan.
All purchases are made through the Apple App Store (iOS / Mac) or Google Play (Android). LyricShow does not process payments on the web — the web app simply reflects the subscription attached to your account.
You may cancel at any time from your App Store or Google Play account; access continues until the end of your billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies — request them through the App Store or Google Play, not through us.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the service
Share your OBS overlay URL or token with unauthorized users
Use the OBS overlay from more than 3 unique IP addresses in a 24-hour period
Attempt to circumvent token rotation, session locking, or watermarking systems
Use automated tools to abuse the speech recognition or translation APIs

Limitation of Liability

LyricShow is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate transcriptions or translations.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
